Applicable to Conducted Tours Only

1. Seating ArrangementsBus seat allotment will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. For Char Dham and Do Dham Yatras, seat allotment will be based on the individual's health condition, wherever possible.

2. Charges for Children

• Children aged 3 to 6 years: 50% of the tour fare without a separate seat or bed.

• Children aged 3 to 6 years: 70% of the tour fare with a separate seat but without an extra bed.

• Children aged 5 to 11 years: 80% of the tour fare with a separate seat and an extra bed in the room.

3. General Conditions

1. For tours involving train journeys, train tickets will be booked up to 60 days before departure, subject to ticket availability and applicable railway booking rules.

2. Tour timings and itineraries are subject to change. Bhageerathi Travels reserves the right to revise the itinerary at any time, with or without prior notice, depending on circumstances and operational requirements.

3. The bus will be arranged according to the size of the group. Passengers will be informed of the vehicle arrangements before departure.

4. Bhageerathi Travels reserves the right to change, modify or cancel any tour due to circumstances beyond the management's control.

5. Flight and train tickets will be booked according to the name and age details provided by the passenger at the time of booking. Passengers are responsible for providing valid identification documents. Bhageerathi Travels will not be responsible if a passenger is unable to produce the required ID proof.

6. Passengers travelling by flight are requested to join the group at the scheduled time on the tour commencement date. In case of a delay, passengers may have to join the group at the next destination at their own expense.

7. Approval of LTC/LFC claims is entirely at the discretion of the concerned institution or employer. Bhageerathi Travels will not be responsible for the approval or rejection of such claims.

8. All tour fares are subject to change without prior notice until the booking is confirmed.

9. Tour departure dates are subject to change and any changes will be communicated to passengers.

10. Passengers with major health conditions are requested to inform the Bhageerathi Travels office before booking. They are also advised to travel with an accompanying person, wherever necessary.

11. Final confirmation of the scheduled tour will be provided approximately one month before departure.

12. For train journeys, Sleeper Class tickets will be booked unless otherwise specified in the tour package.

4. Reservation and Payment Policy

1. Bookings must be confirmed by paying 50% of the total tour fare as the initial advance payment.

2. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour commencement date.

3. Passengers holding waitlisted or RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) train tickets will be responsible for making their own alternative travel arrangements.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. The initial advance amount paid is non-refundable if the tour is cancelled by the tourist.

2. If the tourist has paid the full and final tour amount, the following refund policy will apply:

   • 80% Refund: For cancellations made 60 days or more before the tour departure date.

   • 70% Refund: For cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before the tour departure date.

   • 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the tour departure date.

   • No Refund: For cancellations made within 14 days of the tour departure date. In such cases, 100% of the tour cost will be charged.

3. In the event of a flight cancellation, the refundable amount will depend on the respective airline's cancellation and refund policy.

4. If flight or helicopter services during a Yatra are cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, such as bad weather, poor visibility or technical issues, the amount paid for those services will be subject to the applicable refund policy. Alternative vehicle arrangements may be made at the same cost, wherever possible.

5. For the Muktinath Yatra, passengers interested in travelling by road may do so subject to a minimum of 6 passengers travelling together. The road journey from Beni to Jomsom via Ghasa covers approximately 90 km and passes through scenic countryside. The journey from Jomsom to Muktinath and back will be arranged using local jeeps, subject to a minimum of 12 passengers travelling together.

6. Helicopter tickets for Amarnath, Vaishno Devi and Kedarnath will be booked by Bhageerathi Travels through local booking agents at the request of the passengers. If helicopter services are cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, such as bad weather, poor visibility or technical problems, the refund will be limited to the amount actually refunded by the helicopter company to the local booking agent, subject to the applicable ticket terms. The refundable amount will be passed on to the passenger once Bhageerathi Travels receives it from the local booking agent.

7. Bhageerathi Travels reserves the right to alter or amend tour dates, timings, costs and itineraries, or cancel a tour due to operational requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If a tour is cancelled by Bhageerathi Travels, all amounts paid towards the tour will be refunded in full by cheque. However, Bhageerathi Travels will not be responsible for consequential losses, including expenses incurred on flight tickets, train tickets or other travel arrangements.

8. If a tour is disrupted or discontinued due to circumstances beyond the control of Bhageerathi Travels, including war, riots, bandhs, natural calamities such as cyclones, earthquakes, landslides, snowfall or floods, damage to roads or bridges, vehicle breakdowns, missed flight or train connections, or the unavailability of darshan at temples, shrines or sightseeing destinations, passengers will be responsible for any resulting additional expenses or losses. Bhageerathi Travels will not be liable for such consequential losses.

9. If a passenger chooses not to utilise the food, accommodation, transportation or other services provided under the tour package, misses any scheduled sightseeing programme, or discontinues the tour for personal reasons, no refund will be provided for the unutilised services.

10. If a tour cannot commence as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances, such as floods, earthquakes, riots or the cancellation of scheduled trains or flights, Bhageerathi Travels will not be responsible for consequential losses incurred by passengers. Rescheduling or any refund or adjustment of the tour amount will be subject to the applicable cancellation terms and the circumstances of the disruption. Passengers may be offered the option to reschedule the same tour to a future date, subject to availability and confirmation by Bhageerathi Travels.
